To launch a User Acquisition Mobile campaigns with Smadex, it’s essential to have the right setup in your MMP in place. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up Singular correctly.
1. Partner Integration Setup
Smadex Sales will create inform you a Tracking Group ID during the onboarding process which will be required for further steps.
View-Through Attribution (VTA) Verification: Confirm that the VTA checkbox is enabled within the Singular platform.
Click-Through Attribution Window: A click-through attribution window of at least 7 days is recommended to ensure comprehensive data capture.
2. Event and Revenue Configuration
Correct configuration is required for all relevant events. Additionally, the transmission of revenue data is strongly encouraged to enable accurate performance assessment. To do so, please double check postbacks especially for:
Send View-Through Postbacks: Ensure this option is enabled.
Send all install postbacks to Smadex regardless of attribution partner: Enable this setting to guarantee complete install data transmission.
Send event postbacks to Smadex on all installs: Enable this option to ensure all relevant event data is shared.
3. Cost Tracking Implementation
It is important to note that Singular is integrated with the Smadex reporting API, eliminating the need for specific configuration. Furthermore, some advertisers utilize Singular exclusively for cost tracking, even when employing a different MMP for attribution purposes.
