To launch a User Acquisition Mobile campaigns with Smadex, it’s essential to have the right setup in your MMP in place. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up Adjust correctly.
For more info, please, refer to Adjust's documentation site.
1. Set Up the Smadex Partner Integration in Adjust
First off, you'll need to complete the Partner Integration in Adjust. Once that's done, you'll share the tracking links with us.
To turn on Adjust's integration with Smadex, please, follow these steps:
Find you app and select your app options caret.
Select Partner Setup > Add Partners.
Select the Add (+) icon next to Smadex.
Enter your Tracking Group ID that Smadex has provided.
Optional: see advanced setup to customize your callbacks.
Select Save.
Once this is done, your basic setup will be completed. Now you can create an Adjust tracker URL and submit it to Smadex to launch your campaign.
Important: Don't forget to add the TRACKING GROUP ID that your Smadex contact will provide.
2. Share Postback Events
This step is also on your end. It's about linking your post-install events so we can get both attributed and non-attributed data. This is crucial for us to see the full picture of how your campaigns are performing.
3. Sharing Non-Attributed Data (NAD)
To make sure we're getting all the data we need, please set up NAD in Adjust like this:
4. Enable Probabilistic Matching for CTA and VTA
To get the most accurate tracking, we need you to enable probabilistic matching for both Click-Through Attribution (CTA) and View-Through Attribution (VTA). This helps us track and attribute user actions more precisely, giving us better data for optimization.
Important Note: the default attribution window is 24 hours for device matching and 6 hours for probabilistic matching.
5. Cost Integration
Cost integration is essential for accurate ROI/ROAS tracking in Adjust. It helps you (and us) see how your campaigns are performing in terms of cost.
While Smadex can track ROAS internally, to see those ROAS/CPI/CPA metrics in Adjust, we need the cost data. Plus, if you're pulling data into your own BI, it needs to be correct.
Once cost integration is set up, you'll see cost data for campaign, campaign ID, and creative name. We don't support more detailed cost breakdowns at this time.
