      To facilitate a successful integration between Kochava and Smadex, please adhere to the following guidelines:

      1. Partner Integration Setup

      Contact your Smadex manager so you can get a Tracking Group ID provided before sharing any tracking links with them. This ID will be created by Smadex team during the onboarding process and subsequently communicated to the advertiser to initiate the integration.

      1. Log in to Kochava platform

      2. Select the desired account or app

      3. Navigate to Apps & Assets > Partner configuration.

      2. Postback Configuration

      Advertisers are required to configure all postbacks within the Kochava platform. Specific postbacks may be edited as necessary (refer to accompanying screenshot). Please note the following critical details:

      1. Click Attribution Windows: The default click attribution windows are established as 7 days for probabilistic matching and 30 days for device ID matching.

      2. Fraud Mitigation: To minimize the incidence of fraud detection by Kochava, the following macro parameters are to be utilized:

        1. Site ID and Creative ID: These parameters must be populated with the highest degree of granularity achievable. URLs containing site_id=smadex or those lacking this macro are to be avoided.

        2. APP_ID and CRID: The utilization of APP_ID and CRID macros is strongly recommended. In instances where APP_NAME or CREATIVE_NAME must be employed, an alternative parameter is to be designated.

      Privacy Considerations: By default, Kochava disables probabilistic and IP-only attribution for ATT opt-out users engaged through paid media. This measure is implemented to ensure compliance with Apple's privacy policy. Advertisers possess the option to modify this default behavior via adjustments to their Privacy Profiles; however, careful consideration of privacy implications is advised.

      3. Cost Tracking Implementation

      Cost tracking functionality is supported and can be enabled through the provision of Smadex platform credentials. Check the following documentation to learn more about Kochava's cost integration with Smadex.

      4. Audience Integration Status

      The audience integration is currently active, requiring no further action on the part of the advertiser.
